im getting a new craft room!

im sooo excited!! all my stuff (as seen on share your space) is in the dining room on the huge table. i told hubby i would love to not have it there but where to go with it. (the store is not an option even tho it has 2x the space of te house, there is no heat, we had the gas meter removed cuz it was too costly) son Aaron is 16 and he has the perfect room. mark said move the boy into marks den, where my computer and marks are now. and i move into aarons room. marks desk will go into our bedroom and a couple shelves from there with my books and stuff will go into the new craft room. ive already started to move my stash of paper into the closet on the shelves. aaron isn't too keen on it but it will give us ALL an opportunity to clean, purge and make neater! the closet is huge in there but there is no floor, just too much stuff i already picked up over a dozen empty bottles! LOL so ill be cleaning that too. to make room for my stuff. im sure it will all work out. i have plans for my computer and another table to be back to back so i can put the cricut just behind the computer and if i ever install my scal i an use it :)
so thats what we'll be doing this holiday weekend! playing musical rooms :)
will take pix so you can see the progress. to me being organized like this will enable me to USE all this stuff more and be productive and maybe get beyond the first page of Danielle's bible study!!

Congrats!! I created my room a few years ago and love having my own space. I haven't done much decorating though just mostly organizing. I'm hoping to do a few things in there this summer. I am looking forward to seeing pics of your new space.

Oh do share the progress. Looking at other people's spaces and stuff is one of my favorite things to do. I get so many ideas. I'm looking forward to a dedicated space one day myself -- with a door!

ive already filled 1/2 the shelves in the closet! the built in set that is :)
i suppose i should start doing the boys laundry so i can find the floor in the closet. gotta move my pilates machine and start stacking stuff out there so i can clear out in here!

I'm sharing (read overtaking) the guest room off the TV room....close to fam, with a closed door. Heaven forbid we actually have a guest without warning, though!

i get the fainting couch in the new room, so guests can use that, well one guest lol. I warned my birth mom that "her room is gone" and she can use the wee couch.
the den is nearly empty, just the computer to move now. and very carefully at that!
then to tackle the boys room more. i need someone to help me move the futon out.

the computer is up and running in the new room. i emptied onto the floor of course, a shelf from downstairs, and now the orders have their own 2 shelves so they don't get lost. am now debating where to put all the equipment (cricut, cuttle, scroll saw for trimming cushion/rubber on orders, etc.) i have a huge shelf with my punches im bringing up that sits on the floor and leans on the wall so i can see all my punches. still have several other 4 foot tables to put in here as well as the couch. the room is not big enuf LOL ok i have a lot of stuff!

Wow, Laurel! Looks like it is coming together pretty well! You have sooo much stuff to create with! I wish I had 1/2 of it! :D

My soon-to-be craft room (this is a tough subject for me) got taken over. My fiance decided he would let his friend stay with us until he found a place to live, so he moved in to my space. So, I haven't been able to work on it, my craft room is in my computer room and although I still have it organized and can still stamp, I want MY OWN space, JUST for stamping! :)
