Hi ladies!
Since some of you were looking for simple projects for your church ministries, etc., I thought I would make a quick tutorial on how to decorate a steno notebook.
1. Measure your notebook.
2. Cut your cardstock or designer paper to the same measurements.
3. Use corner rounder for the bottom of your paper, or you can trim around the edge of the notebook when you're finished.
4. Open your notebook and cut the top sheet of paper, in between the spiral holes, so that you can remove it in one piece. This is your template for punching the holes for your cover.
5. Line up your dsp with the notebook paper and punch your holes.
6. Cut vertically in between each punched hole.
7. After covering the back of your dsp with adhesive, adhere your dsp to the notebook cover, lining up the bottom edge first.
8. Use tweezers or any flat tool to work the cut pieces around the spiral.
9. Decorate as you choose!!! Have fun!!! :)

Thank you so much! I was wondering how people did that and here I had made a notebook a few days ago not using your tutorial and oh how I wish I had waited now! Oh well, that'll give me an excuse to make another one!

Thanks for the tutorial, Angella! Great instructions! I had just made one of these as a hostess gift! I cover the back, too. The neat thing about this technique is it can be used on any size notebook! I will try to upload a couple that I have done to my gallery. Blessings to you!

So cute! Thank you for taking the time to share with us! I always wondered how to get the paper lined up just perfectly. I always used to line it up right next to the spirals because I didn't know how to get it between the spirals. Thanks for the tip!!

I wonder if it would be possible to make a tutorials section of the forum, and then we could all contribute tutorials and have them in the same place.

Look in the "Everything Paper" section under the sub-title "Tutorials, Templates, and Techniques". There are some tutorials I need to add there, but haven't had the chance...I will have to put that on my to-do list. :)
